There is an age old adage many people know; you get what you pay for. At HAPS, we absolutely agree.
HAPS is not an intermediary between home/pet owners & sitters. Each of our sitters:
- complete an application form
- is interviewed
- provides references which we personally speak too
- undergoes a full National Police Clearance (NPC)
- if international, undergoes the necessary visa, citizenship & working checks
- is interviewed again
- given a trial period which includes unscheduled supervisory visits on the first 3 – 6 months, and
- on completion of each sit, undergoes a Final Inspection before they leave each sit.
It is the mission of HAPS to comply with Australian Consumer Laws (ACL) which includes honouring YOUR rights as a consumer & meeting consumer guarantees as a both an ASIC registered business & a trusted business offering house & pet sitting services.
The guarantees, as stipulated by the ACL, are:
- A service will be conducted with due care & skill
- A service will be fit for a particular service, and
- Tbe service will be provided within a reasonable timeframe.
At HAPS, we take great care in ensuring those guarantees are not just met, but exceeded.
Home & Pet Sitters is fully insured, our sitters are experienced, qualified & specialise in various areas, such as rescued pets, senior pets, injured or ill pets etc.
This simply means that all sits that are booked with HAPS are planned with the sitter best matched to the clients & pets needs.
