    We get it……

    how even the thought of leaving your home & fur babies to a stranger whilst you’re (most likely) hours away, is horrible, let alone having to do it.

    We can give you a hug, and say it’s going to be ok. But we’ll leave that until the meet & greet.

    Instead, we thought detailing the process from inquiry to end of sit might be more calming. Here’s what happens:

    • You fill out and submit the inquiry or book this sitter form
    • Instantly you are contacted by Jenny, the owner of HAPS with the answer(s) to your inquiry. If you’ve chosen a specific sitter, Jenny will advise you if your choice of sitter is the perfect fit for you and your family. As Jenny knows every one of her sitters, she does know best. You can also read previous, repeat & new client testimonials to see how much our sitters are loved… and good at what they do
    • You decide to move ahead – you will receive documentation to fill out as this information is crucial in ensuring your home, your fur babies & yourself, are cared for in the way you require and need.
    • Once the documentation has been returned to Jenny, this is passed on to the sitter.
    • Within 4-24 hours. the sitter will contact you directly to arrange a meet & greet. This is a vital step. It is not a rushed meeting, as it’s a chance for you to see your sitter within your home & with your pets. It allows you to see how the pets react to the sitter. It is a chance to ask questions, give more information, show the sitter around, and please be honest & open… just as our sitters will be. If a sitter feels as if your fur babies might not be accepting of him/her, a more suitable sitter will be made available. Remember, you’re going to be away…. so bluntly, how your fur babies react (or don’t) are more important.
    • If required, a second (or third) meet and greet can be arranged with the sitter to calm your nerves and give you another chance to see how it goes.
    • The sitter will arrive at your home to begin the sit at a pre-arranged time on the day. The meet & greet is a great time to discuss this.
    • The sitter will update you on arrival, via text, phone or what’s app, you decide. Usually What’sApp is used for daily (or more frequent) updates as it can be used anywhere in the world (although we have not tested it in Antartica & surrounds).
    • The sitter will depart from your home, at a pre-arranged time on the end date of the sit.
    • We know you will be absolutely ecstatic with our services, so writing a testimonial is a wonderful way to thank your sitter.
